Deli Cook (Full-Time)

LONDIS, Premier Service Station, Ennis Road, Co. Limerick as part of the Casey Retail Group are looking for an experienced Full-Time Deli Cook to join their fantastic team in their newly renovated LONDIS Store. 

The successful candidate must be fully flexible and available to work a range of shifts, including weekdays and weekends, in line with business requirements.

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To prepare and cook food for the deli department, ensuring products are fresh, properly cooked and presented to a hight standard while following all food safety and hygiene procedures.

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in fresh food/deli or catering environment is desirable

  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene procedures and safe food handling practices

  • Ability to prepare and cook food to a high standard

  • Customer driven with great communication and interpersonal skills

  • Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative

  • Professional & polite manner is essential

  • Committed to continually improving department standards with an attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with a willingness to embrace new challenges
